Edie is lying on a bed. In the room, there is two men. One, SILVER, is sitting next to her preparing to inject speed into her system. The second, MAX, is rummaging through her silverware drawer.

Edie: Who’s he?
Silver: Don’t you remember? This is my friend, Max. The guy who knows the guy who knows Alfred Hitchcock.
Edie: All right. Is your friend stealing my silverware?
Silver: No, he’s just borrowing it.
Edie: Just because I let your friend fuck me last night, it doesn’t mean he can take my silverware. Did he film it?
Silver: Yes, and you were great.
Edie: Ugh.
Silver: Are you done?
Max: Yeah, it’s a wrap.
[Silver tries on one of Edie’s fur coats.]
Silver: How do I look?
Max: You look groovy. Hey, Edie, can we borrow your coat?
Edie: It looks really good on you.
Silver: Thanks. All right, sweets, we’ve got to go.
Edie: Don’t go. Don’t leave me now.
Silver: Maybe I’ll come back later. Don’t forget to blow out all these candles.
[As the men leave, Syd arrives.]
Silver: Ciao!
Syd: Take off her coat, man.
Silver: She said I could borrow it.
Syd: No, no, either you take it off, or I’m going to take it off for you. It’s your choice.
Max: She just said he could borrow it.
Syd: Take off the fucking coat!
Silver: Hey, man, just mellow out.
Syd: Get the fuck out of here! Get the fuck out of here!
Silver: We were just leaving, man.
Edie: Syd? Is that you?
Syd: What’re you doing?
Edie: I said it all to him. I said it all to Andy. I said it all to him. Is that why you’re here? Are we going upstate, like Andy said? Because if we are, I just need to put a few things into a bag.
Syd: Settle down. He’s gone. Maybe when he gets back, alright?
Edie: Did my father call you? Is he going to lock me up again?
Syd: No. No.
Edie: Syd, could you at least stay the night with me?
Syd: No… Edie.
Edie: Lately I feel like I’m going to die.
Syd: You’re not going to die, Edie. You’re going to be fine, I promise.

Back in the day, old school writing. I was absolutely demented. This is just an excerpt from an entire script I wrote…

Today, I’ll be running. I’m a procrastinator. I’ve waited nearly two months to even begin this monster author research project, and I’m due to give a presentation sometime this week. Yet I’m still tempted to mess with fate and just prolong it a little bit longer. Such an event would likely lead to chaos later in the week, and chaos that I am very unwilling to deal with. Aside from the author presentation, I’m also supposed to take a practice AP Euro test. It looks scary, because I don’t remember a lot of the terms… here’s hoping I don’t bomb on the final.

Changing topic before I get too stressed to think correctly. ><” Anyone who’s heard Sixx: A.M.’s album, the Heroin Diaries Soundtrack, can hopefully vouch for me. This is one of the most positive negative albums I’ve heard in awhile. Apparently, it’s based on bass guitarist/vocalist Nikki Sixx’s book “the Heroin Diaries: A Year in the Life of a Shattered Rock Star.” To my understanding, it was made to chronicle his life from about December 1986-December 1987.
It’s pretty great though, and I can sometimes be a bit of a rough critic. It’s definitely got some piercing lyrics, but that’s expected when a former drug addict recalls their turbulent lifestlye. It also has a great deal of experimentation, and almost reminds me of a Tim Burton film soundtrack, haha. It’s pretty gripping, and every song seems to have a hook.
